Duane Bolin Book Signing Event (and Concert!)

Duane Bolin, Professor of History at Murray State, is excited to announce the release of his book Home and Away: A Professor’s Journal. The book consists of 120 essays out of Bolin’s personal essay columns, published in newspapers across Kentucky, including a familiar frequent column in Murray Ledger & Times.

The reading will occur on Monday, April 11th at 6:00 pm. The event is hosted by Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) in the Murray Room of the CFSB Center. The event is free and the public is invited.

At the event, Bolin will read selections from his book. He will be accompanied by Kentucky singer-songwriter Daniel Martin Moore, whose albums include Stray Age and In the Cool of the Day. The music will be interspersed with the reading, and the author will sign books following the reading.

Former Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Crit Luallen will also attend and speak at the event.

In connection to the book-signing, Daniel Martin Moore will hold a free concert at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12th in the Pogue Library Reading Room.
