This past Monday, September 26th at the Curris Center, the Murray State Department of Political Science and Sociology held a Debate Watch Party in hopes of getting the students more involved in this year’s election. It was an open event, inviting the students and community to gather together and watch the Presidential Debate.
After the debate ended, two Murray State professors led a discussion and gave their personal analyses of the presidential debate. The professors leading the discussion were Dr. Drew Seib and Dr. Paul Foote of the Political Science and Sociology Department.
Overall, there were around 50 people in attendance. The event was later featured by the WPSD Local 6 News and the article as well as a short clip from the event can be found on their website.
